The European Cybersecurity Journal is a quarterly publication devoted to cybersecurity. Its main goal is to provide concrete policy recommendation for European decision-makers and to raise awareness on both issues and problem-solving instruments.
The current issue of the ECJ covers most recent cybersecurity topics which are now under discussion. Prof. Oleksandr Potii (Kharkiv National University, Ukraine) provides the readers with an insight into Ukrainian cybersecurity strategy. United Sates, leading actor on global political scene is presented in the ECJ as one of the cybersecurity stakeholders by Martin Libicki (RAND, U.S. Naval Academy, U.S.A) who describes American approach towards information sharing and information warfare. Coming back to European perspective, Prof. Rolf H. Weber (University of Zurich, Austria) analyses „Digital Single Market Strategy” adopted by European Commission in terms of competitiveness and innovation. Piret Pernik (International Centre for Defence and Security, Estonia) portrays „e-way of life” of Estonians – citizens of one of the smallest countries of the EU, yet ranked second in terms of development of public e-services. Those are only 4 out of 13 expert articles which can be found in the second issue of the ECJ.
